One month old.

WineGlass Remeny (pending)
2008 grey colt Shagya gelding. (*Budapest x Faith)

Remeny’s full brother, WineGlass Victory, is already amazing everyone with his calm attitude as a 4 year old as he begins his athletic career at dressage shows.

While everyone is amazed at his calm attitude as just a 4 year old – that is typical behavior for the *Budapest babies. Just like his full brother, WineGlass Remeny is already showing his athletic ability and his natural curiosity.

Remeny will be approximately 15-3, a great size for an all-purpose sport horse. He has correct legs and three excellent gaits.

2006 inspection tour

WineGlass Fleurie
1993 Bay mare.

Approved for Shagya and Trakehner breeding. Double registered part-Shagya & IAHA Half-Arabian

Bred by Linda Rudolphi

Awards:
Never out of the ribbons showing in-hand
Nation wide high scoring mare accepted into the Trakehner Pilot program.

Fleurie is being retired as a WineGlass broodmare. She has been ridden on trail and competed in one limited distance endurance ride. WineGlass Fleurie is a full sister to my personal riding horse WineGlass Lambrusco, a natural on the trail and winner of a couple of best condition awards at the age of 14.

There is the potential for Wineglass Fleurie to have a few foals if natural service is available making this an excellent opportunity to pick up some excellent Shagya and Arabian bloodlines.

The maternal grand-sire of WineGlass Fleurie, JJ Zantar bred by Jim & JoAnne Gernant), was a diversified multi-champion stallion. UMECRA Top Ten 8 years, Canadian National Competitive Trail Top Ten (third) 1982, consistent winner in Western pleasure, English pleasure, Costume, Trail class, and Halter. He also carried the IAHA Region XI runner up queen candidate. His greatest accomplishment, carrying the Rudolphi kids safely on the trail and to the ribbons!

At the Trakehner inspections, WineGlass Fleurie received a 9 for her trot, an 8 for her walk, 8 for type and an 8 for temperament. Judges comments include “has harmony” and “should cross nicely with a variety of stallions.” The Shagya judges also rewarded all three gaits with scores of 8. Comments included “beautiful bay mare with a deep feminine body.” “walk with a swing back, and “uphill gallop.”

WineGlass Bouquet
1990 grey purebred Arabian mare.

Bred by Linda L. Rudolphi

Class A Champion Hunter
Ridden by Kayla Reimer

WineGlass Bouquet is one of our foundation broodmares being retired and will be replaced in the herd by her daughter H. WineGlass Sonoma. She portrays two generations of WineGlass Farm breeding principles.

Not only has Bouquet given us some wonderful foals, she has been a Class A Champion Hunter, confident trail horse and just recently at the age of 18 placed 2nd at a 15 mile distance ride. Bouquet is being offered for sale to a home looking for riding companion and/or tutor horse.

Have you wanted to learn how to show but nervous about trying – let Bouquet teach you how to show.

WineGlass Sherry
1999 Chestnut Mare
Double registered part-Shagya & IAHA Half-Arabian

Approved for Shagya breeding.
Bred by Linda Rudolphi

This red mare is the perfect size for a junior rider. Sherry is loaded with pizzazz.

This could be the first Hungarian Shagya Riding Pony!! At 14-2, Sherry would be the perfect horse for a junior rider and would meet sport pony criteria. She is athletic and has a quiet temperament with an eye catching fire red color. Her pedigree is 100% athletes.

Sherry was the first foal out of my all time favorite riding mare WineGlass Voodu. Since we waited to breed Voodu until she was a middle-aged mare our hopes of a number of foals was conservative. Therefore, we have kept Sherry as a backup mare.

Typical to Voodu’s perseverance she has had 4 foals for us, one being a grey filly that is identical to her dam and hopefully will replace Voodu in the broodmare band. Since we cannot keep them all, this is an excellent opportunity for someone else to acquire a great mare.

Her pedigree says she will be a long time competitor or excellent broodmare. *BUDAPEST daughters are not offered very often so take a serious look at this mare. If you are wanting to start a Shagya breeding program – Sherry has the genetics sought in the Arabian, Trakehner, Hungarian and Shagya breeds.

WineGlass Sherry was approved to Shagya breeding at the 2006 Shagya inspection tour. She received 8’s for her walk and trot. With comments including “good ground covering walk with swinging back, trot with good rhythm and energy.”

WineGlass Rez
2008 chestnut gelding.
(*Budapest x BFA April Rose)

He will be double registered as a Half-Arabian and part-Shagya.

How often do you get a perfect lightning bolt down the front of a face? Combined with a striking red color and a couple of socks – this is the perfect Hungarian Shagya riding pony. Rez may be small, probably not over 14 hands, but he is large in cute and personality. He has his daddy’s great personality and his dam’s family has numerous western pleasure horses.
