HS Lilly has brought a new dimension to WineGlass Farm with her Warmblood line going back to the famous sport horse Pik Koenig (HAN). *Budapest crossed very well with the booked Thoroughbred mares. So much so we began exploring options which led to our use of the Hungarian Felver horses. Hungarian Felver's were imported after WWII as improvement stock for the US Remount. The true Hungarian Felver is a "hot-blooded" horse combining the lines of the Shagya-Arabian, purebred Arabian, Thoroughbred and domestic Oriental mares. The Felver horses were developed to be cavalry horses of the highest quality known throughout Europe as reliable mounts. HS Lilly is a Hungarian Sportlo resulting when a Felver horse is crossed with a Warmblood.

The dam line of HS Lilly goes back to H. Bajos who has a pedigree of all imported Hungarian horses brought to the US after the war.
